The south facing courtyard is the oldest wing of the property, dated back in the early days of 18th century, and a focal point of ground floor living areas, being accessible both from main kitchen and dining gallery. Sheltered from the north winds and brightened by the sun all day long, it was literarily designed around the ancient wood oven of Casafredda; nowadays the oven is not any longer in service, but a large charcoal grill has been placed in the courtyard, and guarantees fun and entertainment for your al fresco dinner

Over the years we have also noticed that the courtyard is particularly appreciated in the early hours of the morning, as an ideal place to sip a good cup of coffee and to plan the following hours of leisure. A beautiful stone table and some benches and chairs offer our guests the right support to meditate on the mysteries of life, while the many birds that populate our garden chirp in the trees.
